Arranging matches It will be up to the schools to arrange their matches. Please send Philip Theobald at ALDER GROVE PRIMARY SCHOOL your best contact email address and phone number so we can send out an up to date contact list to organise games. You need to play each school in your league once. League Rules - All games will be 20 minutes each way with a 5 minute halftime interval. - Each team will field 7 players from a maximum squad of 10. - Retreat to half way for opposite teams goal kicks. - Goal kicks can be taken anywhere within the box. - Normal rules of football apply except that there is no offside law in operation and rolling substitutions are allowed with the agreement of the referee when the ball is out of play. - 3 points shall be awarded for a win, 2 point for a draw and 1 for a loss. - Where two or more teams finish with the same number of league points, the team with the best goal difference will win. - The Wokingham District Primary Schools’ FA League will be in a league format with no final. - The winning team will have the most overall points. - After each game the results will be sent to Paul Harrison ([email protected])) by the adult in charge of the home team. - A referee will be appointed by the home team and his/her decisions will be final on all aspects of play as well as the result. - Schools need to appoint, when possible, a referee who is not the coach of the home team. - Any player sent off in a match, for whatever reason, will be suspended from their team's next game, to be enforced by adult in charge. - All teams must ensure prompt arrival in observance of the timing arrangements by home team. - Girls are allowed to play and be part of a squad; however this is not a requirement. - Shin pads must be worn by all players; this will be checked by the referee before each game. Failing to wear shin pads will mean non participation for that child. - If there is a kit colour clash bibs must be provided by the home team. - If a home team fails to organise a fixture or does not send results by allocated times the game will be invalid and both teams will receive 0 points for that match unless it can be proved that one side has made a significant effort to arrange the match then a 3-0 win will be awarded. - Autumn Leagues starts in September and all initial fixtures must be played by the Christmas holidays. - Spring Leagues Start in January and all fixtures must be played by the Easter holidays. - Home and away fixture have been organised and need to be kept to that as much as possible, however schools can change if agreeable with both schools. - The maximum winning margin for a game will be restricted to 6 goals e.g a 10-0 result will be recorded as 6-0. - Schools cannot justenter the Spring league. They have to be involved in the autumn league in order to be placed in the correct league after the Christmas Holiday. - The Wokingham District Primary Schools’ FA cannot take responsibility for any accidental injuries or loose/damage to personal effects.
